Simple Nature Truths help tell the story of Butterbur’s search for a countryside holiday. Sometimes he’s met with scary situations but fortunately lots of good things happen too. Flowers and leaves are brought to life with the characteristics and behaviours of the actual plants they represent. Each of the hundred illustrations are created from dried flowers, grasses, weeds and leaves. Hints on how to preserve flowers and leaves together with ideas for creating similar pictures are featured at the end of the book. |
