CRAFTY LEAVES

What a fantastic book-totally up my street! Every autumn not only do I feel unable to stop myself taking a million photos of leaves but I also look at all the beautiful fallen leaves on my lawn and wonder if I’m too old to make a traditional leaf collection…

Some fantastic leaf art inspiration from Crafty Leaves! Get out and make some! Most of the leaves are that beautiful deep red this time of year! Wildlife Trust

BUTTERBUR’S COUNTRYSIDE ADVENTURE

(Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 September 2021)

Exquisite illustrations with an educational, heart warming story. Beautifully written and loved by my children.
I highly recommend this book. Jane Gammon

Since reading this book the children I work with have been creating their own art work using inspiration from the hedgerows. This book has ignited their curiosity and taught them interesting facts about nature.
I would highly recommend this book, not just for children – for adults too. I loved it!

Quick delivery well packed great book, I brought 2 copies for my grandchildren. Amazon customer.

Amazing book – really great fun and educational!

SUSAN’S SECRETS

Superbly written – fantastic, tasty recipes. This a lovely resource for Literacy/History lessons. The children loved looking at the Victorian recipes and tasting them!

QUAKING PUDDING

– Intrigued by the title I bought a copy of the Quaking Pudding off Amazon and was very pleased that I did.
Not only were the recipes fun to make
but the history behind the family who put all these recipes together I found a very interesting and enlightening read .
Its always nice to read about peoples success
and to read a little bit about the social history of any country , and get to know how things functioned there at the end of the 19th century
In this case , 19th century Wales
Mr Allen certainly is a good example of a man who knew how to maximise an opportunity
Imagine getting into shipping from an initial business of shipping wool and grain from Cornwall to Cardiff in the first instance!
All this interesting reading began what has proved to be a most interesting cookery book giving us amateur chefs a new insight into different recipes that will be very well received today by any gourmet
Well done Ms Kenna

Its full of history and quirky details of family and lots of super recipes, its a follow on book from “Susans Secrets”
The book “Quaking Pudding” is well presented and a lovely book to have and is a lovely present too.

SMUDGE THE SLUG

Just read your book, I love it. Full of wonderful messages about being kind and thoughtful. Everything has a purpose some less glamorous and attractive as others, slugs v ladybirds. Getting that message across to some children can be difficult. Thank you. X

Loved the story of the down trodden slug – fun illustrations – Wonderful book.
