Susan’s Secrets-A Victorian Kitchen in Wales

My Grandmother Susan Webb’s hand written cookery notebook was discovered many years after her death. It had been written when she’d worked as a kitchen maid in the ‘up-stairs down-stairs’ world of Victorian Wales. The book sets out my grandmother’s story and shows in a clear and easy-to-read form how to prepare and make recipes the Victorians loved.
